A bridge consists of a replacement tooth or teeth, which are anchored permanent in place using crowns placed on the teeth to either side of the gap. These crowns may be placed on your existing teeth or atop implants. Bridges may be made from a variety of materials, including gold, porcelain or porcelain-on-metal.
It typically requires 2 appointments to complete a bridge – one in which our dentists will prepare your teeth to receive crowns and take impressions, and another in which your completed bridge will be placed, check to ensure it fits and bonded into place.
